Used a combination of boneless skinless breasts and bone-in skin on thighs that I slow simmered to make the broth. I must confess that I used frozen dumplings. I had saw them but never used them. It turned out good. I don’t think it was as good as when I make the dumplings from scratch. But, there weren’t much leftover either. Lol

Shotts 8 point Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 2,078 Hamilton/Auburn	We crock pot bone in breast in Swanson broth for 6 hours, strain it into a pot shred the chicken and set it aside. Get the broth to a rolling boil and use Mary B frozen dumplings. Boil at a hard rolling boil for 40 minutes then add chicken don’t let them stick stir constantly and they are awesome. The froze dumplings do better the hotter you boil them to me keeps them thin so they don’t soak up as much broth. Life is difficult Science prevails over bulldoodoo and superstition every time

inatree 14 point Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 6,648 Trussville Alabama	Casserole Chicken off one rotisserie put chicken in a casserole pan 9x13 1 stick butter melted and pour over chicken salt and pepper Mix 1 cup flour with 1 cup milk and pour over (don't stir) Mix 2 cup chicken broth 1 can cream of chicken and pour over ( don't stir ) Put in oven for 45 minutes on 375° let stand for 5 minutes.
