twaldrop4 OP 10 point Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 3,217 Central Al	Anybody know of some english pointer puppies/ breeders in the state or close by. I have a friend wanting a puppy (male). He does want a dog from hunting stock as it will be a bird dog. If anyone knows of some please let me know.

If he is wanting a dog to walk behind in the woods, he doesn’t want a long ranging field trial dog. Most of the breeders in this part of the state raise field trial dogs.
