My step dad is looking for an offset mower to pull behind his Kabota UTV. I wanted to get some opinions on what you guys have used or are using. Something in the 48-60" range should work well for him. Thanks guys.

I have used a Swisher rough cut one. I didn't think the way it connects to an ATV is robust enough. It's an older one a club member has, and I ended up getting some steel and taking it to a fab shop in town and having a new cross brace made. Then another member used it and bend the connection tongue part. And I think I had trouble keeping the wheeels on it. But It cut good.

If I didn't have a tractor, I would have probably tried to find a used one of those and just re-engineer some of the weak area's. I figure for a couple hundred bucks I would be there. Granted I was towing it around with a 4 wheeler, and I don't dilly about getting where I am going or doing what I am doing.

I am a product duranbility testing nightmare. It's not that I abuse stuff, but I dang sure use it.
