I kick myself for not getting a Dixie Darlin when he was still producing them.

I got this one.

Found this new in package Frost/Heart of Dixie Knife/Call set and some more of his mouth calls recently. I think the knife set was a NWTF banquet auction item?

Used to call him every year and have a half dozen custom diaphragms made.

Jerry is out of westover and he and Mrs Chris are retired and no longer making calls.

Use to use nothing but their calls.

His V3 cut mouth calls were legit. Still using one that’s got a lot of age on it

Not counting the ones in the knife package; I have a Dixie Diamond 2; Ultra Mag 3, Dixie Double, (2) Dixie Diamond 3 and (2) Dixie Devastator's.

I think 2 years ago i had them make me about 20 of the diamond 3 and diamond 4. All I use. But I've been using his calls for over 30 years. Been trying to find some others that make that type of calls but none stack up to Jerry's. I didn't know they and frost partnered up on that stockman. I've got one of the one they came out for deer hunting came with a gut hook. I did have one of his Turkey knives they came out with until someone stole it out of my truck 10 years or so ago. I still have the box and paperwork that showed the design ben Rodgers Lee and Jerry sketched out for the knife.

there is a heart of Dixie box call on ebay now for 20 bucks with 3 days left.

I think is still have a box call. I used to be a regular when I worked in Columbiana in the mid 90’s. Barber in town was our secretary’s husband, and made homemade scratch boxes that were awesome. Still have some of those. Jerry? Martin….always Mister Martin, to me.
