Mine for the 2nd year are becoming viney. They’re in a raised bed that I filled with black cow last year. Evidently still too hot

My question is can i prune them back and they still live. They’re indeterminate if I recall correctly

Indeterminates are supposed to be viney. That’s their nature. If you want some that terminate at a certain height plant determinates.

These things are probably 7-8 ft. Already come over the tops of the cages and are on the ground.
