Here's one that's good on those walkabout hunts. 94 Trapper in 44 Mag. Fun carbine, but has been problematic in regard to a couple of mechanical issues. Looks like a keeper to me. I bet that's a fun shooter for sure.

This old 10/22 has killed more hogs than Smithfield Foods!!! Lol Yep, killed a pile with a .22 LR and also a Ruger 77/22 Hornet. I miss that Ruger…
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Shoot him behind the ear? Shoot them if they are already in a trap? I may be joining a club that is eat up with hogs. Seems most members hunt hogs more than they hunt deer. I may be looking to outfit a rifle for hog hunting but never considered a .22.

Ask a warden how many deer get killed with .22’s.

There’s a big difference in being able to get that CNS shot, or shooting fast, for whatever you can get. LOL….They’re like coyotes (or evil people) to me: sometimes, any lead on meat is better than none….but that’s just my take on varmint control vs ‘sport’ hunting for pork in the freezer. So far, I don’t hog hunt in AL…..just some other places where they’re truly a PITA and they want them all dead, no matter how.

6.5 PRC XP-100 16.5" 308 Winchester with Hornady TAP Ammo (168 grain A-Max). Budyy was using a 16.5" 243 Winchester with 105 A-Max's. Both were using brand unobtainium gear to see at night This was a synchronized shot while he was moving to our left. We killed a lot more hogs over several night, but this was the biggest one.

I picked up a franchi momentum in .308 and worked up a load with Barnes 130gr ttsx & it has been tough on a few this year. Also killed a couple with my tikka in 6.5creed Lot with 143gr eldx hand load. Picked up a diamondback 300 blackout but have t had a chance to use it yet.
