You can try all the over the counter stuff you want, and you will still have fleas. There's a reason it's over the counter.

Killing adult fleas is easy. The problem is about 85% of your infestation you can't see, and about 15% of that population is in a form that napalm won't kill.

Simparica three way. Kills fleas and ticks, for round worms, and for heart worms.

Its best to get something prescription strength. My two pups use tri-heart and simperica(not the three way). Its fairly cheap if I get months of it at a time.

No, because there's no factual evidence(at least that has been released) of any of the sort. It typically works out like this: "I put a Seresto on my dog and he ran out in traffic and got hit = Seresto killed him" or, "I put a seresto on my 14 year old lab and 6 weeks later it died of liver cancer, Seresto killed my dog" Effect erroneously linked to causation.

Our lab is not on anything. She swims at least once a week at the lake and never had any fleas or ticks. Don’t know. If it the amount of water she stays in.
