what kind of trail dogs are those? Looks like a plot in the dog box, but them 2 in the last pic look more like curs/plot mix

also noticed you ain't using any cut gear on catch dogs.

The bay dogs are out of a couple old lines of catahoula’s. Denison / Dewey bloodlines.

This time of year I hardly ever run cut gear because the chance of getting a dog killed by a hog is far less than the chance of a heat stroke if the hog breaks bay before the bulldog catches in these thickets. Not to mention my old white bulldog won’t wear a vest. He locks up. Lol

We mostly just use cut collars, it won't overheat the dogs and helps alot when they get on that ear. I ain't never hunted with any Cats, do they have cold nose's?

I wouldn’t consider them cold nosed. They will take tracks but they tend to hunt more along the lines of head up and winding.
