catdoctor OP 4 point C Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 328 wilcox county	Any one checked on fertilizer prices for summer plots? I checked today and got a price of bulk triple 17 at over $500 a ton! Deers iron and clay peas are going to have to make do with 1/2 what I normally put out.

If you mix with Sorghum or Sunflowers you could use 18-46-0, I'd need 100 lbs per acre. Recently quoted $23/50 lbs bagged. "Cull" is just another four letter word...

Lockjaw 14 point L Joined: Jul 2020 Posts: 8,426 Chelsea	That's why I am doing a rotation. Cereal grains/brassicas in the fall, and beans/peas in the spring. Each provides what the other needs. And I only put 0-20-20 on clover, peas and beans. But my soil test said I didn't need much of it.
