Who all on here is going?
It's just a short 4 more days before I head out to Paris. I hope I can repeat my performance from Foley and come back with another win and a belt buckle. I've changed up a few things since Foley that seems to be helping my consistency. After I broke my hand in October the only release I could pull my bow with because of the pain was a Carter nock2it. I fought with my nock2it release trying to get it to go off when I wanted it to both rounds at Foley. This hand is still nowhere near 100% but I've been working with my old wrist strap release for the past month now. The pain is tolerable but still there. I've tried hinge releases, pull through releases and thumb releases but just seems I'm better with a wrist strap release. I've been mainly practicing at 20 yards on a 3 or 5 spot target just focusing on making a good release. My last round every day I back up to 45 yards a shoot one group on a 3d target.
I'm going to try to remember to take some pictures while I'm there and post on this thread for those on here who have never been to something like this. If anyone else goes by all means take some pictures and post them here as well.

Well day one is over. Paris is a swamp. I didn't shoot well today so I have a lot of catching up to do tomorrow.

This is what nearly all of our targets looked like. It just wears you down wading through this for 20 targets.

You ain't the onliest one that got some work to do in the morning or it's gone be a long 9 he ride home for us. I ain't never had a day where it seemed like every small mistake I made was magnified by 100

I wasn't able to catch up any points and ended up 25th. I didn't shoot bad, I just couldn't seem to hit the 12 rings. I don't think I ever missed a 12 by more than an inch all weekend. I think I had 9 arrows that missed the twelve ring by less than an 1/8" and three of those ended up being called 8's. All in all I shot good but I just didn't score well, if that makes sense. This was the only target that the whole group hit a twelve on.

It was a long ride home I ended up 33 and wife was 15th
