I've hunted the same club now for the last 10 years. The front gate is 2 miles from the house. Screw all that being gone away from my family all the time while hunting. It gets to a point where it's just not worth it anymore.

I guess I have been a hoarder and didn't know it lol. Joined a few clubs that I never even hunted. Just a waste. And I still look at the clubs/leases thread every day! I think part of it is that when you are on a lease you never really know when your last year is gonna be. I've had more than one good place pulled from me due to being sold or family involved in the lease wanting to hunt. Just part of the game.

Is anybody else as obsessed over having alot of land to hunt on, as I am? I mean I am constantly looking at leases/hunting clubs. I even call people with land posted as "For Sale" and try to talk them into letting me lease it.  I have more than I can hunt every year, but still continue to look for more.  It's called OCD You inherited it Get used to it

Good deer, land, clubs and hunting club co-hunters are hard to find. Quality leadership in hunting clubs is hard to find.
I am always searching for quality land, on water, quality leadership and a quality deer mgmt plan and I care absolutely nothing about killing immature bucks.
