Did weyerhaeuser buy all soterra owned land in alabama? If so is there much difference in the way they handle the leases?

They bought all but 5000 acres of the Alabama land. Weyerhauser will be more aggressive in their pricing, but other than that, it will be the same.

I guess time will tell if our evergreen tract was part of it.

MY understanding is the only tract in the old evergreen district they retained is the Belleville tract on Hwy 84

I wonder if that includes the 750 acres or so my buddy and I use to lease.

Was a nice place but the local rep for Soterra hunted the place next door and lived on the same road. Last year I was in, they brought a timber crew in for the first two weeks of gun season, left and came back in early January until seasons end. Funny how that worked.

Rebelman and Nighthunter both worked for Soterra when we got the place and were a great help when asked.

We are just north of Belleville closer to Brantley switch. I’m sure ours was probably part of the deal
Sotera has been in and out most of deer season with timber cruisers and such

Soterra sent us a letter saying Weyerhaeuser bought or entire lease and would be contacting us June 1 , as far as lease concerned we not sure what’s in store for us price wise
