Gorgeous rifle Brandon. That's what a rifle should look like.

Thanks Wesley, I really appreciate that. I’ve had too much carbon/Kevlar/stainless on my mind here lately and needed to scratch a different itch. 165gr Partitions and H4350 to stay with the classic theme. Hopefully she’ll shoot as good as she looks. It’s an unfired older New Haven gun that was on the rack right beside several of the newer model BACO and Made in Portugal M70’s.

Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22

An unfired New Haven model! That's just straight up sinful. grin Can't beat the old M70 trigger for a hunting rifle.

Where did you find that beauty?

The Odd Duck gun shop in Coalgate, OK. Same place I found that Featherweight 257Bob. I check with him from time to time because he doesn’t list all of his inventory online.

Been glass shopping for 2 days. Not sure yet what it is going to be. Having too many options is a great thing. Lots of great stuff out there these days.

If you want some SERIOUS glass for your 6.5 PRC, take a look at the Leupold Mark 5 HD 5x25.

Special thanks to a Mcarbo replacement spring reducing the trigger pull by over half. From 5.5+ lbs and very inconsistent to 2.25lbs and crisp as can be...every...single...pull. Squeeze trigger, dent primer, burn powder, smile. Life is good.
