Looking for a predator call for some occasional coyote hunting. I see setups ranging from $100 to $400 with varying degrees of functionality, but not sure how much of that stuff really ever gets used. For example, I saw one where you could download your own calls and play them, but not sure that's worth the trouble or any better than what comes pre-loaded.

Some have a bobbing furry tail, others don't. Some have two speakers, others just one. Some have bluetooth connectivity whereas other have their own remote.

I really am just looking at thinning out some coyotes on our lease(1000 acres) in the first month or two after turkey season. Do I really need all that fancy stuff or is there a base-model that will do just fine?

If I need a higher end model to get the job done, fine. But I don't really want to pay for a bunch of features of I'm only going to use 10% of them.

If I'm oversimplifying this, willing to learn whatever I need to.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Clay

Also, I'm not an "every weekend" guy for coyote hunting. I'm just trying trying to do some population control for a couple months during the summer on my property and a couple others.
