Yeah, someone needs to put him in time out. He's always seems to be finding and jumping on great deals. LOL. It's a great property no doubt, but I personally dont think that it's worth $4,000 an acre. Timber value is absolutely not there and while it is a beautiful place, improvements (barns, lakes, houses, amenities, etc) just are not what it takes to push the price there. It's got a reputation and history but to me that doesnt drive $$$. BCLC appears wise and only buys "deals". He probably offered 15 mil cash on a 24 hr close and told them to take it or leave it. Maybe he'll replace the buckmasters life hunt with an aldeer community hunt on it this fall.

Not only is it fine quail, deer, and turkey hunting but don’t overlook the fishing in the ponds. My late father in law was one of the people privileged enough to be given permission to fish when he wanted to. He had tails of big bass and extremely big bream. Unfortunately for me and my son, that privilege was not an inheritable item.
There are about a dozen high fence operations in that area now. I suspect someone with enough money to buy it will do the same to it.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Hell, we got this gem! I got one acre on stimulus money who else is in?  I've been able to stash back a nice nest egg the last few years in anticipation of buying my own place. Put me down for 1.5 acres.
