Anyone here use one?

I bought one and it came in yesterday.

I'd love to here any "tips and tricks" from folks that have one.

Use an external battery
Be careful to line it up on the target
If shooting suppressed the Doppler function works better than the microphone
Operate it with a smartphone or iPad, works much easier

I've had one for a few years and I really like it. If you have an old low power scope laying around, someone on Sniper's Hide 3D prints a little attachment that you can use to line up the radar cone, like timberwolfe said. Or, you can take a straw and tape it to the top where the little notch is and look through it like a boresight.

Don't set the timer too short, it takes longer to shoot sometimes than you think and there's nothing worse than burning powder thinking you're recording data and you get zip.

Thanks guys.

I've played with it a little bit this morning. I thought I had a good mounting option, but I was wrong. I'll need something else for prone shooting.

I was shooting suppressed this morning in trigger mode just to check it out. It read most of them. I'm interested to see what it does in Doppler mode.

I put a bolt that fits the tripod mounting insert on the LR through a board which mounts on my bench. Use extra nut to tighten against the LR to keep it from moving. A piece of 2x12 should work on the ground for prone.

I've shot a shoot over type chronograph but you really have to phuck up to shoot a Labrador.

Kind of what I was thinking. That was one of my main reasons for biting the bullet and paying for the LabRadar

I always shot the 200 .45 acp @770 fps when I popped the chrony. Dude with a 7Wby@3250 fps disintegrated it.

You don't shoot over a Labradar

You won't regret it. The amount of data gathered is ridiculous
