Heck yea - that will get your heat rate going

I got a 7 point in Clarke county that prob 6 that made it - probably a euro mount - showed up lot in daylight In February- spots were not hunted
I got a 7 point in Camden Prob 6 year old - never got a daylight pic from him - this area was also hunted More - probably a euro mount - he made it

Seems like some of them always disappear but at least he made it , maybe you get him early before he leaves again. Heck of a deer!

Still waiting to see if ours shows back up. He’s been gone since October but not the deer that one is.

Nice buck. We have many bucks that go MIA about mid November to early December as well. I'm not sure where they go because it is not from lack of does, food or too much hunting pressure. Most of the time they show back up the last week of January or February. Mississippi State recently conducted some research on about 50+ bucks and found that about 1/3 of them have different home ranges in the winter. I suspect this is mother natures way of minimizing interbreeding. I see this with mature bucks and young bucks on our property. We run cameras year round.

We will likewise see some bucks show up that in December that are not resident bucks. Some of the new bucks we saw this year were very healthy (fat) indicating that they were being well fed somewhere.This again demonstrates that it is not about food. It is sometimes frustrating because we spend a lot of $$ on protein in the summer only to see a few of the bucks move away during gun season. This is why we hunt hard during bow season.

Can't beat them for the money. I've got about six moultrie cams and they definitely take better quality pictures. But for $30 I love these tascos. I try to buy one every time I go to walmart just to have extras lol.
