I figured I would buy the majority once and cry once. Them MB 550s ain’t cheap.

I haven’t heard a bad thing about the MBs. You prefer the closed jaw, not the offset?
Also let me know your review on the z traps

I don’t have much experience trapping coyotes so I don’t really have a preference yet. The traps that I already had were closed jaw so I just went with that.

As far as the Dp traps go I already have 6 z traps and they are really good traps. I really like the push/pull trigger on them.

Man those MB 550s have went up since I bought mine several years ago. I reckon everything has though. They are rock solid and tough as nails.

Maybe a bag of sheep's wool, for making dirt hole sets. Just adds something visible around the top of the hole (stuffed in the hole a little) I actually grab my bait off my spoon with it and stuff it down the whole with a stick. But having it is not necessary.
Rubber gloves to handle your bait and lure with.
Regular gloves for handling all other supplies and making the set.

Catch Pole (supposed to carry)
22 rifle (suppose to carry)
Trap Tags (supposed to tag each trap)
Red Fox urine (just what I prefer)

You can't go wrong with anything from Down South Trappers. That crows blood is deadly, I usually bait and lure with different types and keep a journal of the what and whens. The Crows blood always produces.

Like you I bought once, wiped my tears and been having fun ever since.
