anybody done it with success? I know fall is when it should be planted but we have some thin areas and I thought about trying it but don't want it to be a waste.

I would think its been just a little dry this spring for it. Good wet spring, go for it. None of my clover is growing great right now. Its pretty and green, just growing slow. If its like mine its getting massacred by the deer.....it may just be hard to tell it if its gotten real short. The deer have hit my food plot harder over the last few weeks than they have all season. Dang near about to eat it to a nub.

Ive got about 1/2acre of crimson clover in my front yard(my big garden spot). Ph is great, pretty good dirt. Its growing but slow. There are some deer that feed in it but it dont get hammered. Normally that spot would have water in the furrows right now. It hasnt been that way yet this spring. This is the first time since weve lived here that spot hasnt stayed flooded. I have a 3acre field of crimson clover where i hunt and 1/2acre of ladino. Both are pretty, just not getting much height on it. Deer could be eating alot of it

I was hoping it would dry out enough for me to top sow some clover this Spring, but alas, it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen. It’s gonna be too wet for me to try it.
