Any other Braves fans as happy as I am with the season so far? I think we may have what it takes to play a whole season this year. IF we are able to stay healthy I think we have a decent chance to finish strong.

They can pitch, no doubt, but they will not hit like this all season. When McCann starts hitting they will be hard to beat.

The season is a marathon not a sprint. Hopefully their body of work for the entire season will enable them to compete for a championship. Nowadays anybody that can make the playoffs has a good chance of winning it. i.e. 2011 Cardinals

Probably. I grew up with them. I used to look forward to every game and was disappointed when they were not on TV. Sid Bream, Otis Nixon, Ron Gant, Terry Pendleton, Marke Lemke, David Justice, just to name a few, were players I looked up to back when I played ball. I can remember the day Sid Bream stumbled home on gimp legs to win the pennant. I was just a young kid. I ran around in my parents house yelling and carrying on. Baseball was great back then. Today, I just can'e get into it. I'm sure when my boy starts playing I'll get rejuvinated and I hope he has the same passion I had for the game. Baseball is a great game and the Braves is a good organization.

Those were the days. I was a big SF Giants fan. Mitchell, Williams, Clark, Thompson, Uribe. Man that was a good team that I enjoyed watching. Used to love to watch "Will the Thrill" bat, with that weird stance he had

Doekiller I feel like your always a Debbie downer toward my post lol I don't mean to be, I was just answering the question. I have been a Cubs fan since I was a kid. I watched them on WGN every afternoon that I could. Since they didn't play night games, I got to see them play a lot.

Beachy is on fire. He's gonna be great, well he already is. I agree with sending Minor back down. He's gettin shelled every outing. I'm not sure about jurjens either though. He got rocked this week in the minors. I hope one of them come around though. It sure would help out a lot.
