Looks great.
Love the wall/room too. I’ve considered doing something like that with my trophy room.

I like everything about that mount except the "detail work" along the jaw line. Live deer don't look like that to me and I see up close live deer every single day of my life.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Great buck, and great mount. Congrats!

Clark did you hunt private land or did you go with an outfitter? Would love the information if you used an outfitter. I hunted private land. A friend of mine from the military has around 1300 acres up there.

Very nice where did you find that pine you have on the walls that’s beautiful Small sawmill here had it. It's what they call blue pine. I appreciate it.

Beautiful buck and mount. Congrats. Yes, that is blue stained pine from rocky mountain ponderosa pines that have been killed by beetles. The tree gets a fungus from the beetles and that is what causes the colors. I am going to use it in my new trophy room and I am staining it with an apple cider vinegar/steel wool mixture. Makes it look weathered. Lowes around here carries it in tongue and grroove and they have plenty of it at every store.
