This time of year do you have better luck hunting in the morning, mid day or right before dark?

Evenings have been slow until about 45 minutes before dark for us. Mornings have been better lately. Went Sunday afternoon and killed about 3 squirrels in first hour. Sat down tied dog and let kids play in creek for 30 minutes or so. Then started back and killed 10 or so in about 30-40 minutes.

Last saturday morning was high humidity and warm. We had 2 dogs and killed 38. They went again that afternoon and killed 27. So 65 for the day.
