Exceptions ain’t the rule, and pressure is pressure......and turkeys are a helluva lot more sensitive. Funny how it's always the coon hunters that have the opinion that the coon hunters don't hurt anything. That’s false. I’m a Turkey Hunter that takes a Coon Hunter during turkey season. He hunts and I just sit at the ranger and take them to different turn out spots. Doesn’t hurt anything. ......and you’re just using a single, controlled situation as anecdotal.....so you’re more ‘false’. You’re more than welcome to believe what you want. Turkeys CAN get used to a lot of stuff. First, they’ll just shift. If wanting/inviting more pressure/disturbance (of any type) on your main target species, makes sense to you, milk that bull......just don’t ask me if I want cream in MY coffee. LOL

The coon hunting hasn’t effected us deer hunters at river road. Over 30 mature bucks killed this season. To the op, we don’t only kill good deer, turkey, coons, and squirrels we also kill wild hogs as well. Dont mean to hijack a thread.. I have read and really dont have an opinion about hunting coons as it relates to putting too much pressure on roosting birds. I do know i need to get rid of some coons we have WAY to many on our place. Wildboar i was reading your post and was just wondering how much land do yall have at River Road. 30 mature bucks is amazing, you guys must have a enormous amount of acreage

Is this club closer to Sulligent than Hamilton? If so, is it the club where you have your own private section that’s yours to hunt? I know a family that hunts in it and loves it. I’ve got a place in Sulligent already or I’d be interested.
