I’m about to make a big batch of patty/ small breakfast links from a wild hog I got that didn’t have much fat at all. What pork : pork fat ratio do y’all suggest?

Pork is naturally greasy anyways so maybe 5% depending on how lean the pork is maybe a little more or less.

i saw a video that someone bought cheap bacon and used 5# of pork to 1# of bacon.

this^^^^^^^^^^is what I do. Foodland sells a , I think, 10# box of bacon ends pretty cheap. This is what I use. Actually the bacon is pretty good too.

I buy up the real fatty bacon when it’s on sale and bacon ends and pieces the same. I use that as my primary fat source for both venison and wild hog.
