Spartans are the way to go IMO. And as Johndeere said, Moultrie eats batteries like crazy and don't take very good night pics.

I have had good luck so far out of my spypoint but I do use it with external battery Go pull your cards and check out all the pictures youve never seen before. Ive had two occasions in the past week where bucks(one really good one), stood right in front of one of my spypoints for 3-4 minutes and i didnt get a picture. It may be on the card but it didnt get sent to me. I pull my cards now and then just to see whats there. There are always ALOT of pictures ive never seen before.

Definitely don’t recommend the MoultrieMobile these by far are the worst cell cams I’ve ever seen. About every two or three days I’m having to put batteries in mine. Customer service is a definite no go with this worthless company.
That's so weird. I have had 2 Moultrie mobiles out for almost a year with zero issues. Our winters are wet... We were the 2nd wettest area in the US last year and a couple wind storms with gusts 60-80mph and my cams didn't skip a beat in pics or battery usage to the point I'm buying two of the new ones. My Walmart Spypoint has been free of issues as well. I think some are just lemons maybe...

Ar1220, my boy killed a buck today that stood right in front of our spypoint for a couple minutes before he shot it. No picture. I dont know if its on the card but it didnt send the pic. These cameras are the link evos. I dont know about the other models but the evos i have suck. I do get alot of pics. If i didnt know what was going on, i would be satisfied, somewhat. But thats three bucks in a week, that i know of, that we didnt get pictures of. Makes me wonder how many we missed while we were gone. The link evos and the cell links are their weak links...

My Walmart Spypoint has been free of issues as well. I think some are just lemons maybe... I've had really good luck with the moultries also. One is almost 18 months old and has never been off the tree. The other is almost a year old and has only been off the tree long enough to drive to another property to be put out. I'm getting a little over 2 weeks on batteries right now but they are both on feeders. I'm averaging 6000 pics a month. The only complaint I have is the battery indicator on the app is never right. It will show 1/4 battery life but it will actually reader than hell.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

If not that’s probably your problem. I haven’t had any issues with my SPYPOINT cameras. I use good quality batteries and a freshly formatted card in the camera.

Love my Spartans...and the new Spartan GoLive is pretty awesome. I can pull up a live feed anytime and take a pic or record a video from what I'm watching. For real?

Spartan is the only way to go. My Tactacam suck compared to the Spartans. Plus they eat batteries. I’ve got both and the Tactacam Reveals are great and are beating the Spartans on battery life, but you must do the firmware update on the Tactacam. For the price you can’t beat the Tactacam. Of course everyone has figured it out and you can’t find any, especially for the $99 each like I bought all of mine.
