Guys my son has asked me to take him to Arkansas waterfowl hunting for his senior trip.
I’ve looked online and found a few but just not real sure. I want it to be a good experience.
I would like to shoot ducks in the morning and maybe geese, pheasants or deer in the afternoon.
Maybe a 3 day trip in December.
With that being said, does anyone have any experience with an guide or outfitter that they recommend?

Scott @ Cypress Crossing has some excellent speck ground and some great duck ground. The ducks have become pretty hit or miss it seems as the years go by but the specks are more consistent each year. They will work hard to put you on the ducks/geese. Scott has a a nice lodge close to Stuttgart.

The Grove in Pine Bluff is second to none on ducks but not sure about geese. Lodge is crazy nice and food is excellent.


Of course you can go to more premium locations but the prices will go up quick (Stan Jones/five oaks/slicks/etc)

I’m from arkansas and have hunted with or around alot of these operations (Stuttgart area specifically- outside of there I’m not much help)

depends on how much money you want to spend. need more info. tons of good guys in AR to hunt with. this year has been one of the worst seasons in the last 10 years. Have heard guys tell me they are paying $450-$600 per man per day and not even pulling the trigger.

I wouldn't plan on Arkansas. I'd go somewhere in the Central flyway.

I'd agree with that^. If your gonna drive to hunt ....Arkansas is no longer the place to go. Aerial reports are dismal
