Maybe I've been under a rock but I just came across these. Looks like a solid rifle. I searched Gunbroker, Buds and Kygunco.....none in stock. Have these begun to ship yet? If so, any experience from the Aldeer clan? Thoughts? Springfield 2020 Waypoint

They haven’t starting shipping yet. I was going to place an order for one back in October, but got told the version I wanted wouldn’t ship until after the first of the year. Turns all of them have been delayed. I bought a Bergara HMR Pro instead.

That explains why I haven't seen much on em, thanks guys. As for being expensive, good stuff costs money. I feel they offer good value considering the components and features they come with.

I held the only one in the state of Alabama. The Springfield rep was at Mark’s sporting goods a few weeks ago. I have been looking so forward to seeing the gun. I have definitely decided I was going to buy one if we never showed up on the shelf. Unfortunately when I held the gun the stock was massive. I am a very large man with very big hands but the stock seemed way too big in the grip area. The gun was extremely bulky and seem like it was good for bench rest but not for hunting at all. I was greatly disappointed and very sorry to tell you what it turned out to be like. I spoke to the rep and told him my disappointment and he only told me that there’s hope because there’s more models that are coming out soon. It was nothing like the new guns from Bergara Tikka and others.
Hunting brings out the worst in people.
