I am training one for a client. I’ll ask where he got her. She’s pretty dang smart and loves to retrieve.

She seems to want to please but is stubborn. Only 6 months old so still has a lot of puppy in her. She went through obedience training and did very well. So far she does not like the water but that may change. I trained another one several months ago about the same age and she was not quite as stubborn but did not have the drive to retrieve like this one. If I wanted a duck dog this would not be my choice but I think they will make wonderful pets. I do know of a few that are good retrievers and love the water. I use to train with a guy who had a really nice HRCH male and had some master passes on him.
