Nice - what kind of dog is that? Fox Red Labrador Retriever, which is a color variation of the yellow Labrador. My soon to be SIL has a female. She is a beautiful dog.

FWIW:
All yellow labs have exactly the same colors of fur on them....just in different amounts. That makes Yellows the only lab coloration that can be ‘other than yellow’.....black is black, chocolate is chocolate.
Reds are as rare as it gets, generally.....but they were supposedly the original ‘yellow’ lab color, according to the Brits, anyway.

A silver lab IS a Weimaraner, by some minute amount. Don’t get me going on the ‘silver’ fiasco. They’re like doodles in my book....hunting has ZERO influence on their existence, but ee/color Weimaraner DOES. If some like that color, go nuts. It needs to be its own breed or something, though. Red was the original ‘yellow’, Labrador retriever.

Red was the original ‘yellow’, Labrador retriever. You have some good looking dogs. I would assume the hunting golden retrievers are generally red in color. A buddy had several. One was wanted by Lardy to ride in his truck as he never had a golden at the time. Dave’s dogs were all red except Tanner and he was more yellow but had red highlights Someone here used to post pics of a working cocker spaniel. That was a sight and happy to see Breeding for coolness has ruined many a good breeds.
