2020 will dang sure go down in the record books.

The biggest thing on my books this year was of course me catching Covid. Damn near killed me. But, just a week before near Aliceville a few friends and I set a new single night record for Alabama Hog Control. We killed 31 that night.

I made my longest shot to date with a thermal scope on a sow one night. I dropped a big sow at 536 yards with my XP50 Trail on top of my 6.5 Grendel. Hit her right in the crease of the shoulder. Thank goodness I had a witness! LOL

I made a head shot on a running pig at just over 300 yards. Once again with my Trail and Grendel.

I had to do a lot of work alone this year. Covid really cut into my guided hunts. But, my farmers and clients still needed hog control. I missed the back half of March, all of April, and a little of May. The fight must go on.

I managed to catch a sounder of 13 in a small field one night. I killed 11 of them. The only 2 survivors were about the size of a squirrel. It is hard to hit those dang "bumble bees".

Killed 6 coyotes in one night.

Going to finish the year around the 800 total on hogs and just over 60 on coyotes. The hog number is way under simply because I missed 2+ months of prime time.
