I've been after the coons for a couple of years now with the DP's but I'd like to try my hand at the coyotes. Is it better to just get a coyote "kit" or does it make more sense to just do piece by piece? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd personally buy it individually. You can make a lot of tools yourself. I'd buy a quality stake driver if using earth anchors, I use Wolf Fang anchors. Southern Snares sells a good one as does Stalker Fabrication.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Be cautious with getting into this because its highly addictive and the benefits you see in you deer and turkey population will drive the addiction even further

piece by piece. i use mb550 because they are ready to go after de-greasing, dyeing and waxing. no adjustments needed. don't overdo the lure or bait and be sure to bed the trap really well. i use the brown coffee filters (peel them apart, as they are too thick as they are) for a pan cover.

buy the appropriate staking system for your soil, so you don't lose any traps.

good luck.
