Anybody plant any ? Mine took well with blessed rain.
Mr Camera says thumbs up.

Perennial Sweet Grass with " salad fixin's ".
We'll see. Most of the fixins are already being enjoyed,
like the little croissants that they are to Deer.

In a perfect world, this " attractive sweet grass "
will flourish after the initial pop.

Mine's well fed and has a bunch of moisture right now.
I'll report back. I got a great response up front.

No herbicide. It's filling in.... daytime pictures... you know whats next.

Hard to say - they seem to hit my feed more Than grass now- still judging Though

I threw out some sucraseed and some clover from WMS and turnip and oat

They seemed to hit my WMS Alabama blend harder last year - but I am still judging

If you read about sucraseed it is impressive

W that said - my grass is all low except for the turnips so they hitting it

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

If you mean Corn I have seen it too recently.
3 Bucks skirted my plot on their way to a corn feeder Tues night.
I had filled it that day and stayed back. One of them blew anyway.

Did you plant the sweet spot southern blend. I have been curious about how this would do compared to wheat oats and rye. I wonder if it will be as hard to get rid of as other ryegrass to get rid of if you did t like it.

If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

Yea - i planted the southern sweet spot

My fields are really low - like they getting hammered

My big field I am not seeing as many does - but deer always act weird at that field

My buck field I only hunted twice and killed one buck in muzzle loader - only deer I saw - but grass is mowed down

Think TreeDweller planted same thing - I think deer hitting his pretty hard

Yes. Southern blend Sweetspot. It's done well and looks great.
Still young though. Many plants need to mature to really do their thing.
The younger Deer are starting to use it in daylight. Many visits at night.
Will it survive as a Perennial ? Only if you don't want it to.
