Shot a hammer of an 8 point at 12:35. Shot him at 260 yd and he dropped but I couldn't see him. Waited 30 min and the buck took of when got about 100 yd from him. No shot . Waited till 2:30 and started following blood.
Tracked him 250-300 yd and had to stop because another member was hunting in the area. Gonna be a long night. Think I hit him in he underloin area. Bunch of crap and big chunks of fat. Hope you find him Nathan, at the new club? Yepsir . Thanks fella's . Hopefully I can find him in the morning. I'd call a tracker but I haven't seen any listed for coosa co. Congrats to the young lady. Good luck Shiloh. Looks like you may have got him in the brisket. I didn’t see squat cross the power line today. Guess they held up in the thickets out of the wind. Hopefully it will be still in the morning. If it is, there ought to be plenty of movement. Calling for west winds, so that power line stand is out in the morning.
