I think I have more bucks on camera this year than I’ve ever seen. Several good deer and many small bucks. I have seen as many bucks as does while hunting also. Bumper crop of deer in general. One poor looking doe out of all of them. Most are extremely healthy and fat. Fat=healthy to me no matter what anyone else chimes in with.

We usually have a few very nice bucks on camera that we just never see on hunts. This year I haven’t seen a good buck since they were still in velvet.

Lots of deer, but very few shooters. Least number of mature deer on camera in 5 years.

We have a small piece of land, had 4 or 5 good bucks on camera and three 4-6 point bucks this year. Not many doe on camera. But as I drove in yesterday there were 8 doe crossing the street. So I know they are here.

8 different bucks; two of them being absolute shooters on my 126 acres in the back yard. The problem is, they are not moving much in this damn heat wave we’ve been having. We’ve been watching them since we moved here in March and have hundreds of pics of them. I can walk out back right now and see one but when daylight hits they are gone. I can’t wait till next week. Lol till then I have resorted to putting my climber smack dab in the middle of our swamp and started filling the freezers with does.

We have more deer than ever but only a handful of bucks I would shoot with a bow, only two of which I’d shoot with a rifle.

Absolutely covered up with immature bucks. Still some big ones. Wet summer has helped a bunch.

not as many fawns this year as the last 2 years. 3 5+ yr old shooters so thats about average for our property. Lots of young bucks which is average. Does seem to be average as well so just about the same as the last 30 yrs.

we only shoot 4+ year old bucks and I have least 15 bucks that I know of on 1500 acres that age between 4-7. Have seen more does with twins than I ever have . Pretty wild year as far as number of bucks. all my neighbors shoot dink backset racks and a bunch of does also. proof that you can hold and maintain an age structure even with bad neighbors
