If there were a prize for catching small fish on Logan Martin, Lay, Mitchell or Jordan right now I’d be right there with anyone. But I can’t catch a decent size bass for nothing. Not complaining as I’m just glad to catch fish but people who are catching 18 pound sacks, well congratulations and you da’ man! I’m glad I don’t fish tournaments anymore😄.

Ben2, I figured there was a tournament on Lay. I saw Dustin Connell and one or two other pros were out there. If you were catching twenty 2.5-3 pounders my hats off to you. I fished from daylight until 11:00 and caught twelve 1-2 pounders.

Ben2 what will this Weather do to the guys fishing the Open this Week on Lay? Today they will freaking chew! I was registered but decided I did not want to be that cold for 3 days haha. So I got out of it.. By the time Thursday rolls around it will be tougher again. 14 lbs a day will be hard to beat imo. Someone will catch 18 but that same person may have 10lbs the next day.

Yes sir, I’ve seen it many, many times. I think it will be hard to keep a 15lb avg over three days. If Logan Martin is generating there will be a convoy going that direction.
