I’ve never really had any luck with any. Anyone have some tried and true scents/methods/timing using them?

I’ve used them quite a few times but had to times that I believe they worked.

Once was in southern Arizona. Put some doe in heat down and had a buck basically come running through the brush and stopped 5 yds from me.

Other time was a week or so ago. Did a scent drag and got a 7pt. I don’t know if it brought him into the area as much as it stopped him from spooking too bad. He winded me while making a run but kind of trotted off and came right back with a soft grunt. I think he’d of full blown spooked if I didn’t have the scent

Always, once the rut starts. I prefer “Harmon’s Triple Heat”. Drag rag all the way,

I used to use Tinks 69 in the solid stick form that looked like a deodorant stick. Used to rub it on my boots and on a few surrounding trees. I saw a spike stop chasing does once and stick his nose right on a tree where I had rubbed it.

I’ve hunted places where they worked and Other places where they ran the deer to the other side of the county. My preference is zero scent of any kind.

No , I don’t think so , it’s pricey , I tho k I gave like $20 a bottle . I may have an old pkg . I’ll try to find it . I know the guy who started it passed and his wife carried it on . Small operation .

Deer Formula from the Keeper Bait Company was the best scent I ever used. It worked countless times for me and is no longer made. Combination of Tarsal Glands and who knows what else
