Great caliber. My dads first rifle was a Ruger M77 257 Roberts in long action. We still hunt with it. Will be past down to my kids one day.

Give the Kimber Classic's a look. I picked one up a couple years ago in .257 Roberts and love it. Mighty fine looking rifle too! Let me know if you ever decide to part with it, sure do miss that ol’gal! OP there’s a NIB Kimber Hunter chambered in .257Bob listed on GunsInternational for $749.
