Evidently Alabamians are heading to Arkie for the opener.
I believe Arkansas’s population just doubled or tripled. I saw more hunters headed that way than last year.

Is this one of the weekends AGFC allows non-residents to hunt?

I’ve seen them headed over all week. Duck Boats and decked out rangers with quack racks. Hard to figure out since the hunting has been terrible the past few years.
I haven’t bought by AR license this year and may not depending.

I’m out here now and we blew it out this morning for the best opening day I’ve had out here in 4 years. Thousands of pintails but frustrating with the limit being one apiece. Fun watching them thought

Good deal. Seeing tons of pics of limits being taken. Good mixed bags even timber hunts looked awesome.

Hopefully it will be a good year.

Today was slower and the huge flocks of pintails had split the scene like they do with the pressure. Now we need a good front with snow asshole deep on shakial O’Neal all the way to St. Louis. And while I’m wishing a big nor’easter all down the east coast to help us here in Alabama.

Opener was pretty good. Ducks will get stale quickly unless there is some weather to shake them up.

My boys headed out early fri morning. Their group had the best opener they've had.

It was like it used to be this weekend. Can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds.

Think it was 25'ish opening day, a couple less on day 2. Day three brought blue bird skies and no ducks working their hole. I think they said 9 yestidy. Went to another wma today and tallied 13. Still 1000x better than their first 4 years of going.
