Checking interest on 750 acres in North central Wilcox County (Camden area east side of the river/ safe) that I might be willing to lease exclusive turkey rights on this spring. It's got birds and all the properties around it have birds too. Dont bother Pm'ing me just yet, because I'm not even close to being sure I'm going to lease it out. I've got something much closer to the house that I'm working on and trying to get nailed down before I'd even consider leasing this one out. I hold the lease on it and this would be a year to year thing and if I was to need it back in future years, unfortunately you'd be out. This is not a club, I'm talking turkey rights only and the turkey rights would be 100% exclusive to one person and their guests. Even though it "hunts big" I dont want a pile of people on it. If I do lease it, I'm looking for the right person and will interview. I've got great neighbors that hunt their places in the spring and I'm not about to put anyone on it that might cause issues with them. Just trying to be upfront and honest. Someone offers $5k and I will no longer be debating whether or not to lease it and all I’ll be thinking about is making sure the check cashes and getting that person keys to the gates. Someone wants to pay $6.50/ acre and there will be no need for an interview. Heck, I’ll even show you where you can piddle on my buddy’s places without getting caught and where you can’t.

If someone is that serious about it, help me make my mind up and step on up and let’s get a deal done.

Deer season is 5 months long, turkey season is 5 weeks long. One person hunting 750 acres should be nice, but is it worth $1000/ turkey? And there is no guarantee you’d kill your limit?

You're exactly correct and I know exactly what it's worth cause I turkey hunt. That's why when someone mentioned $5,000 I immediately said "I'll take it" and I still will if someone wants it that bad. Heck, I'll take it without even having another place tied up yet. $6.50/acre is roughly 3X what I consider to be the going rate for "turkey only" rights on good property.
