hallb OP Booner Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 10,618 Santa Rosa/Conecuh	I really am a rookie turkey hunter, but starting to understand why turkey hunting is tough on my property...and why I heard hardly a gobble. Guess it's better than no turkeys at all. Is there even a jake in there? I see this same flock all around the property, there's probably close to 30 of them.

I've gotten as many as 50-60 sometimes. Seems I remember several years back somebody up near Huntsville posted a pic of probably 100 in a picked field. You have a lot, I'm just saying I think you are about on par for what you should be seeing if you have a strong population. There's a large group of gobblers running around there together also, I guarantee it.
