So after reading the recommendations on lighted broadheads a few weeks ago, I bought the igniters. The one I practiced with worked fine in the yard and then yesterday evening i shot a deer with it. The nock lit up when i shot it until impact, then apparently went off after impact. When I found the arrow, the nock was not lit up. Took it apart at home and it lit right up. Is this normal?

No. Most likely the top of the light stick was a little stiff and it didn’t go all the way down. If it was a hard impact, the nock may have backed out slightly allowing it to shut off. Work it make and forth a few times and shoot it and see what it does.
