Where are all of the reports? Setup in a oak flat bottom next to a creek, occasional gust but otherwise calm, acorns dropping and the tree rats cutting the fool. Hopefully a deer will come on by for breakfast.

Sitting in the rain sucks

Present in Jackson Co. Just popped a black coyote. Had 5 yotes come in together. 4 normal color and 1 black. I smoked the black one at 30ish yards. I couldn’t help but get down and look so I shimmied down and found it piled up +-50 yards away. Decent size male. Back up in the tree now.

So - fun fact - I’ve got only three bow kills under my belt, but three different critters. 1st was a bobcat in 2014, then a doe the next year, then the yote today. Praise God above for fun mornings like this.

I got settled in just before shooting light. First climb of the year is always rough, but I got up here ok and don’t think I forgot anything.

Lots of deer killed the first two days. People just ain’t talking. I also heard that Timber 2 tagged out yesterday.
