3-9 Redfield Widefield on JB Holden Ironsighters is early 70's old school. Of course the Redfield would be fogged up. Killed my first deer with a set of Holden Ironsighters and a Weaver 3-9 set up. Quite a few deer fell to that scope, between my great uncle and pawpaw... good times. My BAR 06 had Holdens holding a 4X Weaver. I killed one 425 yards, resting on a fence post with that set up. By far best shot I ever made on a deer.
