I’ve been having trouble with most off my sd cards that have worked for years. I ordered a batch of new cards and was checking them out. The little grey tit on the side is supposed to be pushed up or down? They came out of package in up position. I’m calling the up position the end that goes in camera with corner missing.

I go through a bunch of them. I never change anything before I put them in my cams. Just open them and stick them in. Pretty sure that locks them so they wont get messed up when your info is on them. Thats what ive always believed anyways

I numbered my cams and my SD cards. KeepIng same cards with same cams seems to reduce the number of messed up cards I get.
