Bought a disc from a guy today and he's got a very nice Ford Workmaster gas burner tractor with bush hog, box blade, and boom pole. He's retired military and can no longer operate it due to health reasons. It's sitting in a barn and looks great, tires are brand new. He also has a very heavy duty equipment trailer to put it on. I think he was wanting to sell everything for around $6500. I can send his contact info to anybody who's interested. I'll take some pics of it in the daylight in the next few days

What is the model number, horsepower, etc. of the tractor?
Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.
It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

Should be a 601. Never used one but I had a good friend that farmed with one when they were new. He said it was a really strong tractor

Should be a 601. Never used one but I had a good friend that farmed with one when they were new. He said it was a really strong tractor The "601" contained an entire sub-series of tractors. They were numbered 611, 621, 631, 641, 651, 661, 671, and 681. The number depended more or less on the drive variant, ie...four speed, four speed no PTO, four speed no PTO or 3 pt, five speed, etc. Engine had about 48hp. 32hp at the PTO, if the tractor had one. Here's more info.... http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/2/3/234-ford-641.html

His stuff he can price for what he wants, but don’t think it’s the deal he thinks it is. Specially for a gas burner imo

Would have really like to see that without all the red paint in original condition. Still looks good to be older tractor. They were red from the factory. Looks pretty original to me.

Tractor is worth about $3500 if it doesn't have a ton of blowby and cranks easily. You can decide for yourself what the rest of it is worth but I see this vintage tractor sell for around that dollar value regularly. Being a gas tractor of this vintage doesn't hurt the value that bad they were good machines. This was built when people expected them to last forever and this one has essentially has done that and will continue on.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

A lot of people who have owned them actually prefer them to the diesels. I can't say cause I've never had a diesel one but I don't understand why people think a gas burner isn't near as good as a diesel.
