If it’s disked up (prepared) you’ll have less of a chance of getting a ticket Right......the catch phrase is something like "normal agricultural practices". You probably need to at least pretend to prep the field for planting.

You can absolutely shoot a waterhole or roost site all you want, you just cant put out wheat, sesame, cracked corn or any other kind of bait around it. Now I did hear once of a group of younger guys rolling out some big strips of visqueen on a powerline near a bunch of thinned pines and covering it with cracked corn. Thursday afternoon rumor has it that they went out and rolled up the visqueen and what was left of the cracked corn, and then went in there on Saturday and burned up some barrels on birds. Just a rumor though and something I heard about years ago.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

a lot of times the federal charges are less than same charge in state court because feds do not charge court costs on top of fines.
