For those that like the Modellorita and the Tito's, Lime and Club Soda, here's another for you. I think one of the things that a lot of great recipes for both food and cocktails have in common is that they were born out of necessity. Things like the Caesar salad, or the Buffalo wings for instance. People got creative out of necessity. When you are at someone else's beach house you work with what you have. Disclaimer: I don't like sweet beverages so this is not one but it is nice, cold, light and refreshing. Perfect for the summer. Fill a short glass with ice. 1.5 oz of white 100% agave tequila (I used Lunazul for this one) 1/8 wedge of a whole very sweet orange ( I used a Honeybell) 1/2 tsp of raspberry jam 1 oz pineapple juice Top with however much lager beer that will fit in the glass. (I used Modello) Stir and enjoy.

Irish, next time you buy tequila, look for the Jose Cuervo Tradicional tequila. It has a colorful skull on the label. It’s 100% agave and is very smooth, but fairly cheap. It’s my wife’s go to tequila.
Also, if you find any Yee-Haw brewing company Cervezas, or Good People Muchachos, try them for Mexican beers. They’re dank.
