Did anyone else get drawn for the youth hunt in Vina? I got drawn to take my little boy. I was hoping to see if anyone had been on this hunt before and what we could expect

We went to one last Saturday outside of Boaz. They run them very safely; at least ours was. On ours they had already spaced the hunters and my 3 grandsons had a blast. We were blessed to sit under the few flying doves though. Get there early, sign in, and select your first come first serve spot.
I can’t say enough good about the State Biologists that were there from Skyline!

We'll be there. First time at this location, but we too were at the Marshall Co hunt last week. Were in Walker Co the week before. And plenty of others over the past 8 years. All the DCNR and State Biologists we have encountered have done phenomenal jobs for the youth. Now some hunts have been better than others, but I just enjoy getting out there and spending time with the kids. If there are plenty of birds and plenty of opportunity to pull the trigger, well that is just icing on the cake.
