Is eating them right off the vine in the garden. Cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, and big boy tomatoes. If I’m out working in the yard, or when I get home from work, I usually stop by the garden and pick a few and eat them right there. Nothing like it.

If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

My dad would walk me out to the garden when I was a kid with the salt shaker in his hand. We grew better boys, and he'd pick them of the vine and we'd eat them like apples with a dash of salt. One of my favorite memories of my dad.

If you want some that will not make it to the house, plant some Sun Sugar tomatoes next year. They are the absolute best cherry tomato I've ever had and there's not a close second. They are a yellow hybrid. Buy the seeds and start them yourself. I guarantee you'll remember this post next year f you try them.

For some reason, Fur, I can’t get any of the yellow varieties to grow worth a flip. They are usually good though, but the “black” varieties are my favorites by far.
