We killed well over 100 they was at least 5 of us...possibly more hunters not sure 😀

Yes. About 15 of them yesterday. The front that blew through, or something else had ours jacked up. They came in high and stayed high. I needed a scope on my shotgun.

Have you ever tried some decoys?

I had out a couple of them. I haven't used my mojo dove in so long that I couldn't find all of it.

I’m hoping to see a few today, been setup at Swan Creek since noon and literally haven’t even seen a dove yet... for some reason they haven’t cut any corn out here so there’s just not much for good habitat to setup on. I’ve heart a handful of shots around me. Anyone else been out to swan creek this year and have any insight into what’s going on? I’m just truly shocked they decided to do absolutely zero to prep for the dove opener. I’m pretty disappointed.

A big farmer is cutting corn just west of swan creek. I just left his files a minute ago. A lot of birds were sitting on powerlines over there.

Interesting, sounds like that’s where they all are. Haha. Does he allow folks to hunt his fields?

My son and I shot Swan Creek Saturday and if we were good shots we both would have limited out. We went back yesterday and again if we were good shots we would have gotten 6-7 each. Nowhere near as many birds yesterday as Saturday and I imagine that # was cut down even more today with a grower cutting corn near the WMA.

Went down to mallard/fox this afternoon. There were some birds around but not a lot.

Yes took the boys for a few hours. There were a lot of folks when we got there. Talked to someone who shot it opening day. Said there were actually a fair amount of birds. May try to go back on some afternoon hunts once they get some of the corn cut

Combine should be on that place at some point this week. He’s working his way there
